LOOKS LIKE MOYES WILL BE WORKING HARD ON TEAM PLAY WITH HIM ?

Nice find. I'm not sure how much he can change his game at this point and the fact he keeps his head down whilst on the ball isn't good. There's quite a bit of work to be done on his game from that read.

The main thing is that the lad has got ability, and we all know that so I see no reason why he can't do well for us.

Why do you think we got him so cheaply? He was always going to have his downsides and we're taking a chance. I think every team needs someone selfish up top, who the hell wants to pass it around like Arsenal with little end product. If he's exceptionally selfish the lads will soon let him know, and if it needs to be done delicately we have Fellaini to have a quiet word.

As for the profiler, it was a good read.

I think we will all make our own judgement on how he plays for us and _fuck the profile. Can't wait to see him play

Thinking about it after that read. If we play him on the wings against lesser teams and supporting Jelavic against the better ones, he could be absolute dynamite.

YEAH THE GUY WRITING THE REVIEW COULD BE A COMPLETE _NOB ! BUT SOUNDS LIKE HE'S SEEN HIM PLAY ! BASICALLY WHEN MOYES IS THROUGH WITH HIM ! WE'VE GOT AN 80 MILLION POUND PLAYER ON OUR HANDS !

Sounds like time for him to grow up under Moyes. I hope he doesn't frustrate too much before then

Mirallas grew up the last couple of years while playing for Olympiakos...during this 2 seasons he was re-born and got a personal ID as to what kind of player he is. Of course Premier League is of a different level to the Greek league but here things are not so easy (as you may think) as well. Also keep in mind that Mirallas was always playing very well on the big matches of the season against Panathinaikos, AEK, PAOK which are good teams also in terms of European standards. In Champions League/Europa League he didn't score but played also well...

Thanks Sporti, always good to get some insight from fans of the league that players come from, really looking forward to seeing this lad play. Also i don't really know about the standard of the Greek league but the teams in the European competitions seem to play at a high tempo which will suit him for the English league

Read a couple more of the reviews on the site and they reckon Joe Allen is better than xavi with a bit of iniesta mixed in ffs, tbf I'm going to wait until I see the lad play and judge him myself instead of paying attention to what the rs think of him.

Just had a little look at that, **** me how many kleenex did he go through writing that piece of fantasy?

The Naismith one has him down as a pub team player by comparison who will "put in a shift but not last very long due to his very dodgy knee" f'kin **** ed's

Little bit of bias in them smig, they have the rs's new winger down as the player mirallas could be type of thing.

This just sums it up......took this directly off the Assaidi profile never seen him or heard of him but.....

Hey all. What a shock!! Out of the blue or what. We all have never, very heard of this player. As soon as I heard I started this profile. I have done it as quickly as possible, but still tried to keep it as fair and as full but balanced as possible. I hope you enjoy it, and if you have seen the player a lot when over in Holland, then please drop me some comments about him as a player.

Anyway the player. He seems a very skilful player, with lots of tricks and flicks. The only problem with this is sometimes he can try to do too much. He will beat 3 players, but then instead of passing, he will try to beat that 4th player. Sometimes it will work, but mostly it wont. So he needs to keep going with those fantastic skills, but make sure that he doesnt try too much. But as I was saying, he is a fantastically skilful player, who is also a good dribbler, and has fantastic close control. His body build is also superb for those long dazzling runs past opposition players. However, he shouldnt over complicate his game.

The truth is that when Mirallas came to Olympiakos, nobody got excited...basis on his achievements in the previous teams in France (not full seasons, very few goals scored, etc) we were all considering him as a second/back up choice.
But he did great and transformed possitively. That happened because he played in a team where they believed on his talent, in a team that during the last two years with Valverde head coach played a very attractive/attacking football in Greece AND even in CL level last year (remember the 3 goals scored against the German Champions BD & the great game with numerous chances against Arsenal in Emirates...) which suit him and to which he contributed a lot, playing usually on the wings (more on the left & occasionally on the right). Kevin 9 out of 10 times made an impact on the game either by scoring/giving and assist or just changing the pace of the game and if there is something that could be said as a drawback this is that he may score 1,2 or even 3 goals on a few consecutive games and then not score for another 5-6 or more games...(For example last year he scored 7 out of his 20 goals in 2 matches!)

That's what I was thinking. It's not really a profile page of him, more an opinion page on him.
