let lpool fans believe they did it..let manu fans believe they did it.

I like to believe we're bigger, better and smarter fans than that !!

and what happens MB if protesting etc doesnt find a buyer?? that could cause irrepairable damage.

and if it does work and Bill sells out to the first person that comes along just to get out of the club and that person takes on the debt, and runs up even more debt buying players etc, and the club ends up in HUGE trouble, who will be to blame then??

My point is, it could make things 10 times worse long term.

    Then what??

    Protest again?

everyone has a right to voice an opinion, and sambo i agree with what you say...

we all know everton aint in a brilliant position.

protesting can bring awful repercussions if done in the wrong way, but no matter what anyone says we all loved to read the union report..  something needs to be done to sort out the business side at goodison but what is the solution?

thats the thing KM, what gives any of us the qualification to run a football club??

I dont presume its an easy thing, and i certainly dont envy the decisions BK has to make every day cos he is trying to please everyone but that just isnt possible.

I wish i had the answer mate, cos more importantly than anything, i want EVERY blue to enjoy every saturday, cos this football team should be for our enjoyment, not for everyone to be falling our and arguing with each other, surely thats not the point of football full stop??

well, what does kenwright know mate? he is a supporter and he has made his money in theatre.. he has admitted in the past that sport is new to him.......  we could all be in charge and get so called experts like elstone to run the club....  we obviously aint doing it right or we would not be in the position we are...

I thought it would have been obvious to all Evertonians that the reason no one wants to buy our team is that no investor is going to put any money into a venture that to all intents and purposes consists of a one hundred and thirty-three year old stadium, that now detracts from all the history, victories, trophies, and the successful teams we have fielded over those very years. Goodison Park is presently the 'fly in the ointment'. But for the life of me I cannot conjure up how one can get around to modernizing and at the same time expanding a stadium given the time constraints, and, having to acquire the necessary permissions from the 'dog in the manger' Council.

I can't believe that Manchester City are where they are today because they were able to attract a wealthy investor all on account of the stadium that was, so far as I have been able to garner, handed to them on a plate by their City Council, while Liverpool City Council have stymied every Everton FC attempt to acquire a brand new stadium in order to attract a wealthy investor. First things first, and EFC are never going to succeed in attracting a wealthy investor while our beloved abode is definitely showing her advanced years.

KM- Like you say, by his own admission its all been new to him and im sure if we were to all start from scratch then we would all do things very differently, however, there in lies the problem, cos liek we have said in other posts, nobody is ever going to be happy with how things are run for varying reasons.

Its must be like being the prime minister, not everyone will be pleased, and theres nothing to say that if the club gets sold or we get an investor they will run it in a way that will keep everyone happy. Its must be a horrible job mate tbh, and the pressure and stress must be immense, and not many people can shoulder that sort of burden mate ;)

Thanks kingmoyes. Well, compared to others who make contributions to this forum, I have not devoted much time on here but I've certainly posted more frequent than the single effort I am now being credited with. Mac OS X Lion has evidently done it to me yet again.

Just an idea. How many of these protestors are builders, painters, plummers, window fitter, upholsterers etc who could put there time into working on goodison park for free to improve the stadium to help us get a buyer.

The time wasted on protesting could be better used, if, really you wanted to help.
