This club has been run in to the ground and you can't see it?
I pity you.
There were 600 supporters at that meeting today which,at such short notice, was a great turnout.
How many do you think you will see next week?
Join them if you can and it will bring change that much closer.
If it is not nearer 6000 then this club is indeed finished.no disrespect deso, but i dont think the club is finished if we dont get lots of protestors. Ive no problem if people want to protest etc, but why not do it after the game when it wont affect the players etc???

Enough is Enough.
anyone half intelligent person can see within 2-3 years there we will be relegation fodder, If things continue at the rate they are now.
If the board wont do anything, its up to the fans to step up to the plate.
Rs and united fans did it, and the players said it didnt affect them when they were playing.
sambo applecart said:WTF.......this will only serve to upset the team and totally ruin the season imo.

The meeting was arranged 3 weeks ago.
They are turning into an embarrasement and dividing the fans.
We should be working together with the club not against ourselves.
As has been pointed out what exactly are they protesting about.
They wanted honesty Bill gave it to them they wanted new players we have them they wanted less debt we have.
They claim not to be an Anti Bill group yet continuously hound him.
The protest is a bad idea and will either disrupt the team before the match or will die a death after the match as we will win.
Have noproblem with people questioning the club but when you get what you want don't get greedy

I think you are missing the point of the word "invest". People only dodeso1957bc said:Sambo-I know your position-I respect it.......unfortunately until people say" We are not happy with the status quo" nothing...and I mean nothing will change.......the last 12 years shows this.
Brotherblue....I don't have a viable alternative no..why should I?I can see however that if nothing changes the fortunes of the club will continue to deteriorate. Are you happy with a situation where people who have invested nothing in the club, apart from buying of shares, will sell off every player the club produces in order to clear a debt which is down to incompetent management of their making?

are you dense? the seasons already a write-off yer plum
mate, i dont disrespect you, please dont disrepsect me. im as entitled to my opinion as you are. further back up the thread, it was meant in jest btw, ive no problem with anyone who wants to protest just do it after the game.what purpose does it serve doing it during the match and distracting the players??
as for the safety of my computer screen, i need the safety of nothing, and no one. if i buy a shirt, if i pay my money and come to the games, im as entitled to voice myself as much as you are. what would the club do if everyone who doesnt live in the city didnt support the club, both by attending and buying merchandise?? the club would lose millions in revenue imo. so jsut becasue somebody isnt from the city, doesnt mean they dont love the club as much as you or anybody else for that matter.

what if though deso, all the protesting etc doesnt find a buyer, what is the long term damage to the team then with all this unsettling?? theres lots of pros and cons mate thats my point.

this so that they can make a return on their investment. Abramovich will
not make a single penny from the millions he has invested in Chelsea.
The people who own city are in the same boat. But these people have
money to burn.
Do you think those clubs are being well run? City
lost £131,000,000 and Chelsea weren't far behind. Have you been living
on the moon for the last few years? Have you not heard about the
financial crisis.
What you really want is for some billionaire
with more money than sense to come along and take over Everton and
simply throw money at it just for the fun of it. Just spend their
bilions to keep you happy so you can have a good laugh at some other
poor sod supporting some other pennyless club after our team of
overpriced and overpayed prima donnas have just tonked them.
brotherblue said:And you say I have missed the point?
brotherblue said:Ffs you might read my point.
brotherblue said:I am not looking for a billionaire...I never mentioned one..but
brotherblue said:Surely there are a few alternatives between what we have..ie incompetence and mismanagement on a grand scale and a billionaire?
Well
it's not going to happen and shame on you for wishing it would.
Football was supposed to be the working mans game. Not the toys of the
idle rich who just like to lord it up in the directors box and have no
real stake in the club at all.

United fans were wearing coloured scarves...
The R's had their worst start to season for god knows how long, and were doing awfully up until Dogleash came and took over
