    I think we all know that recording Mr Kenwright (soon to be sainted) was not exactly the right thing to do, breach of trust and all that, but why did he want it in secret ?

    He is a knowledgeable man about town, surely not afraid of an interview.

    I just wonder what he thought he might say that he didn't want to get out.

    There was one question about Operating Cost @ 24 million that he could not or would not answer as director, and no I don't expect him to be an accountant

    And before anyone says anything I am neither for nor against Mr Kenwright.

    He did not want the world to know how bad the finances were . The board always led everyone to believe that the debt was manageable and they were running a steady ship.

    Probably you are right but recording or not surely he knew they would publish what he had said,,if not what was the point in having the interview.

    That is one off the main fans - club relationship problems.... lack off communication.

    On occasion I find things about Everton from other sources.

    But what the heck why should fans count. :) ;-)

    are you kidding? have you no idea how  business is conducted and how much harm can be done by  his kind of thing?

    attending a private meeting, and then publishing a tape of that meeting is dishonest, ignorant and stupid.

    its done a great deal of harm already. ive no doubt arteta was influenced by this to request a transfer. how many more players are now unsettled?

    it will be harder to keep them. it will be harder to get a fair transfer fee for them, and it will be harder to attract replacements.

    we still may not have seen all the fallout from this act of complete stupidity.

    And you believe that Arteta left because of it..he left because he is 29 and his last hope of European football was arsenal.

    You say harder to keep players....how many bids have we had ?? they could have got 5 million last year for Yakubu.

    I agree it was wrong to tape him but what did you think they were going to do with the info they gained.

    The players are well aware of whats going on at the club... more so than us! Outing bk as a fraud does not affect what the players want to do with their careers.

    It amazes me how the BU say they want honesty from the board yet are seen to be a very dishonest group.

    Then when they are found out they feel upset at being treated poorly.

    If I had to say I#d be an anti bk but it makes no difference to the great scheme of things..they will do what they please.

    I just never ever thought in all the years that I have supported Everton that I would ever watch tele and see Stoke and other what I would call first division held in the same esteem as Everton

    I may have said this wrong but we now appear to be lowest of the low and this is my heart speaking not my head.

    We may have no money, we may be ruled by the bank but everton supporters have pride and that is getting stretched to breaking, we need players how give 100% and have the same pride in the team, not just wages.

    I know someone will knock what I say but good or bad that is my opinion.

    BLUE UNION....the name is a contradiction in itself when all they seem intent on doing is not bringing the club together in union..... but actually splitting it in two !!!

    Personally I don't even know who the blue union is but I wonder why they got an interview with BK in the first place.

    Surely BK did'nt think he was going to sit with 6? people, give them an interview and then nothing.

    What did he think they were going to do with the info. And before anyone says it was wrong to tape it, I agree completely but there is such a thing as taking notes.

    I think it was unusually naive of BK.

    The BU just had to show who bk really was behind his impressario evertonian image!

    I'll tell you what is ironic... everyone believing what bk has to say even though he is Mr Theatre himself. Naive is not even in it!!

    Do you believe we are in debt then or is Bill just pull your plonker.

    It amazes how people want Bill to talk to them then when he does people complain that he has.

    The BU **** up big time and are un willing to apologise.

    Blaming Bill for telling lies yet deliberately lying and secretly recording the interview is okay.

    The double standards of this group is incredible and will bring harm to the club.

    The same group who asked for an unbiased report in the Guardian and then were upset that it didn't favour them

    Any chance of giving this crap a rest now. Both BK and The blue union managed to shoot the club in the foot. It's done, it's history, the club won't allow it to happen again and the blue union is now irrelevant. Let's move on, there's nothing to see here.............

    Totaly Agree. Outing BK should not have any effect on the players.
