Sky News reporting Thatcher's death..... Only it wasn't......

The amount of people ready for a street party was quite amusing!

Hahahaha! I must admit, as soon as I saw it, I checked on Sky News, but nothing was coming up so I went on to the Twitter account that was reporting it, and would you know it, it had only been set up yesterday, and every story was the same, plus some had hashtags like #20thingsidontlike or #excellentwords or something to that effect which was a bit of a giveaway.

It'll be a sad day for Britain when the good Lord decides to take her to be with him in heaven.....

Speng my boy.....she wasn't a great lady in any sense of the word. She just had more balls than any of the men in her cabinet.

Bad policies. Even worse legacy. Not something to be crowing about.......& yes I'll accept my raspberry, with a big dollop of yoghurt on top....

Don't know where this myth comes about that she had balls. Something the press made up.

She did more u turns than a bog. On everything from the Falklands to Poll tax. An anti smoking campaigner that was in the payroll of british America tobacco.

Her only strength was she had no principles.

Absolutely. Did what needed to be done, and ostracised ever since by people who were unwilling to accept that it was bankruptcy, or removing subsidy to ailing industry. Have a look at the historic production stats for UK coal production. The fall was on well before maggie did anything. The taxpayer could not afford it.

Her strength was she tapped into human nature like no other politician before her. Selling off council houses was her 'coup de grace'.....

Suddenly she had gained a whole new demographic of voters......

I don't agree with her politics - but how did she become the first female leader of her party?

I love arguing with you but I sense we are on the same side fundamentally.

I hated her politics but admired her as a woman getting to the top in a man's world. What she did when she got there is down to the people who voted for her (not me). You can't make a distinction because she was a woman (Blair doesn't seem to have had too many morals either).

    Blairs a c*nt too.

Not bothered she was a woman. Just a shame nice women don't get anywhere with having to resort to underhand make tactics. ; ) Something Hilary Clinton is brilliant at.

I admire hitler more than thatcher.

I don't think I have ever complimented Thatcher, but she had more morals than Blair.  Such a poster boy socialist coming through the ranks, gave great speeches about doing good.  Got to to office, communed with god, went mental, killed a lot of people, sold his own party down the river.  There are words to express my feelings for them, but they will all come out ****
