the best option for the club LMAO.

we didnt need to sell, 5m was already made from yak and beckford that would of seen us throughout this year.

Lescott, pienaar and now arteta, this trend will continue until we have nothing left.

players wanting to leave becuase they know we cant compete with the top7 anymore patheric.

and then to rub salt in the wound arteta takes a paycut to join them, what does this say about us.

that we are spending too much on wages????

Yes it is bad we know tickets but i still feelhe has done us a favour. Torget the wages we only ROUGHLY know the basic paymnet (i would believe there will be a lot of bonouses in there) we were paying 75k a week to him that is roughly 15m in the next year in wages. plus the 10 mill we got for him. Yes we should have got more but hey thats football.

Newcastle held out for the carroll money did we ???? no idea i was not there. thing is it now gives more responsibility to Jack, Billy, etc to step up to the position which they should be able to play. Yeah one big player has left each year. Thankfully not more. At the start of the window i was really worried we would lose more but thankfully we got rid of a bit of dead wood, a player that does not suit our style and a player not recovered mentally from an injury two years ago and wqas not playing well for us. Now in a new enviroment and situation he will hopefully thrive. In reality if he stayed herre would of stayed the same.

Arsenal will prob only get 1 or 2 years out of him before he retires or does not perform.

There are so many way to look at it and so many variables. The reality is he left and it does look bad but gives others a chance to shine AGAIN admitidly.

What player has said they've left us because we can't compete with the top 7? You're making this up.

You moan that we overpay some players then moan when we sell them for a tidy profit. Arteta has not justified his salary for a couple of years and is injury prone, yet suddenly you think we should have kept him? Get real.

why dont you use your head instead of believing every one says all of the time and looka t the facts for yourself.

Lescott pienaar and arteta all left because they knew where this club is heading.

and how do we sell players for a tidy profit.

    lescott 22m- we got

    Bily who is ****

heitinga who apparantly wants to play for every club apart from here

and distin who will be 34 this coming season.

and pienaar and arteta where we got 13m for the pair of them and people are saying this is great business.  get real

and on wages, we still need 2 players and moyes will probably spend in jan, on top of that if felli signs a new contract there goes the 100k we saved on wages.

No, Lescott, Pienaar and Arteta have left to play European football and in some cases get paid a lot more. What is so difficult for you to understand about that?

How do we sell players for a profit? Beckford/Rooney/Arteta/Lescott - look up what they cost us and how much we have sold them for. Then look up the definition of the word 'profit' as it seems to have completely escaped you.

As usual you present hypothesis as your excuse to have a go at the club. Your 'arguments' are almost impossible to justify as they contain hardly any accurate points at all, relying purely on your own miserable speculation about worse case scenarios.

I know you must still be smarting that Moyes is still here and we are still a decent squad despite all your negativity, but cheer up, one day you might get your wish and see us finish bottom half again. Then you can bore us all with 'i told you so'. Until then, I'll enjoy watching you continue to make a complete t!t of yourself.

It may come as a surprise to you but most people on here can work out the financial aspects of our club. We do not need some tw@ of a RS continually knocking the club. Now please go back to RAWK of from under whatever rock you came from and explain to the RS fans what a great buy the pony was for £35M............

talking shoite again tickets,,,,lescott, piennar, arteta left because they knew where their new clubs were heading !! city..rich investors..loadsa money...pienaar spurs champions league...arteta champions league....it had NOWT to do with where YOU think this club is heading....

tidy profit..lescott bought 2.5 mill was it sold 22 mill...i cant even be asred going into the others but obviously you cant do basic maths...

dont kno what your trying to suggest with the bily distin heitinga comment !!!

wages where do you get your figures from ? because you just dont make any sense what so ever...arteta you've constantly bleated about the 75k we paid him..piennar was reportedly on 65 now let me see...that makes..140k...lescott was on 40ish making ot 180k.....i wont bore you by adding all that up over a year to show the savings.....and yes we'll hopefully spend 50K a week on felli and another 50/60 k a week on two more signings ...STILL SHOWING A PROFIT....

SO YOU NEED TO USE YOUR HEAD !! AND GET IT OUT OF THE UNDERTAKERS SHROUD THAT CONSTANTLY COVERS IT !!!

100k a week until jan, lets say its 16weeks, thats 1.6million we have saved. Not a bad amount really to have saved mate, if it were me, i'd hang on til summer to bring in any players, by that time we will have saved about 3.6million.

Lescott didnt leave cos he KNEW where we were heading, he left cos Man City were spending huge amounts of money and to double his wages. (and we made loads of profit)

Pienaar went cos he knew he would be comfy on the bench at Spurs and to play 2 games in the CL. Probably b'cos we wouldnt pay him what he wanted to. Not because he KNEW where the club was heading.

Arteta has left to play CL football, at 29 how mny more chances will he get, from a football prespective he ahs done the right thing for his career, not because he KNEW where we are heading.

Just for one day tickets, and i actually like you, put the crystal ball away, becasue nobody can see the future, not even the nasty wizard on the SMURF3D film i went to see last night, so if he cant, neither can you mate :).

yes great profit, BUT HOW IS THAT PROFIT SPENT.  that is the question here.

    lescott money was spent poorly.

beckford money has gone on debts.

Rooney was sold for much less then he should have been, and again this was used to keep us affloat.

And lets put things in perspective.

Arteta, Beckford, yakubu Brought for 13.25m  sold for 15m, brilliant profit that is, and there probably wont be any profit as at least 5m of that will be used on debts

good luck to arteta what ever he left for but everton needed to change things somewhere and i think it could work out to be good in the long run. it will at least get the banks off our back abit of money for moyes maybe and also save a lot on the wages. good luck to drenthe and denis COYB

also tickets no one cares what you think at least we got 2 new faces in that i never ever though we would this season be interesting to see them play

Im kind of looking forward to evertons next game

Well from that side of the coin then, Drenthe and Strac cost nothing, they are on loan, so as you say, we spend money poorly, we havnt spent anything here, so these 2 could turn out to be the best players we ahve ever signed using your method!!!

WE ALSO NEED MONEY TO REINVEST IN PLAYERS

saha contract is up this season, which will mean we will need THREE NEW STRIKERS.  or maybe you arent thinking this far ahead.

this season we will struggle to score goals, thats a fact.

AND AS FOR ROONEY, IF THIS WAS TODAY, WE WOULD HAVE GOT 45MILLION, AS IT WAS 6 YEARS AGO, WITH ONLY MANU AND CHELSKI ABLE TO THROW MONEY AROUND 27MILLION WAS A GOOD DEAL. SOMETIMES TICKETS I DO WANT TO BITE YOUR EARS OFF FOR THE DAFTNESS THAT COMES OUT OF YOUR PIE HOLE.
