I noticed that newkie brown has really taken off in the states...

Big time. I love it and so do many I know. I've also been drinking craft beer alot too but I love Newcastle for my import. However, it's pretty dang expensive over here compared to others, but to be expected being an imported ale.

I had stella once, wasn't bad.

What are y'alls expectations for this season from the Blues? Is getting in the Europa league good enough or is a top 4 what's expected, like? :)

Well I live an hour from the "bourbon trail" over here in the states so I've had some bourbon. Love Woodford Reserve and Southern Comfort. I'm not sure if you all have access to that over there though.

We'll do well to finish in the top four, however if we make a decent start to the season (been poor the last few seasons) its not beyond us.

welcome too from an American [Washington State]. I adopted this team when Sir Alex destroyed Tim Howards confidence and David Moyes, who I think is the best coach in the EPL, gave him a chance and brought him back. David Moyes is a genius. In America we have the Yankees,Red Sox who have all the cash, in the epl it's Mnure,Man-City,Chelsea who have all the big names with their egos. This is a hard working blue collar team without caring about individual stats and I for one am sick of all the money spent for stars. I should warn you about some of the posters here, little weird, but you'll figure that out. Brit humor is a little different, but I like the twisted sometimes.

    Welcome to the forum!
Kentucky is a beautiful state, I have family living there near the Ohio border. I'm from Michigan by the way. You couldn't have picked a better team to support nor a better forum to join. Everyone is pretty friendly and enjoys a good laugh.

Thanks for the warm welcome.  I admit though reading through some comments, I'm picturing an english accent in my mind to go with it.

Well the region where I'm from in America we are known for our "southern hospitality".  I think I'm a fairly nice person.  Looking forward to conversing on here, even though we are 6 time zones apart.
