Moyes said in his interview he was a bit disappointed by how many people ran on the pitch. Said he felt it ruined it a bit.

    Any thoughts?

The problem is some of the kids now think that this is acceptable behaviour/ the norm and will try it again, if that happens we can expect fines/point deductions/fences ! It simply is not tolerable.

The argument I'd put across is if this is the case, Everton should not have marketed the game with the slogan 'When Hibbert Scores, We Riot'. They effectively allowed for the possibility of that happening, they knew it would happen. I personally was glad it did, it added to the fun and the atmosphere of a testimonial that was very befitting of Tony.

I think everyone knew it was going to happen, I think it's just Moyes being tight with the rules again.

He has to say that, really. He cannot be seen to condone pitch invasions.

aye im sure he didnt mind all that much, just worried that if he says it was all good fun etc then you are setting yourself up for more pitch invasions in which we will get penalised.

couldnt believe it when i saw Everton marketing the game with "hibbert scores we riot" ...

He should have said it was just a bit of fun, but it must not happen in a League or Cup game. TBF, the Club advertising rioting showed faith in the fans not to cause too much trouble. Imagine how the advert must have looked to Italians or Turks, with their terrible crowd violence!

Yeah, the stewards didn't exactly do much to prevent fans from goin on did they. Nobody got hurt so it's all good really. Funny when that lad slipped and took Hibbo out!

Everyone in there heart knew this would happen. Thankfully it happened in a match that the FA / FIF are not too bothered about.

Hibbo is a true professional. Always quiet and works hard at his game. Loves a club and will stay here till he finishes. This clubs means as much to hibbo as hibbo means to the club. The fans for a few years now have been crying for him to score and showed ther passion for him after the match.

This is not something that will happen very often but moyse wants to ensure the club is not brought in to disrespect.

But hey i bet he had one hell of a smile behind closed doors.
