    well lets be fair, at first the germans didnt, they lost!..but it broke us, we had to give countrys back and was probably the end of the last great empire..(not including the one in starwars of course!).we was still on food rations in the 50s and skint while germany was rebuilding and getting on with life while we kind of stood still..so your point is fair..but we can claim the moral high ground!

    i CANT stand the french, especially that charles de gaull, when the germans invaded he upped sticks and ran, he always said he couldnt stand the english and churchill, but where did he run to?..US of course..and as for the great french resistance..dont make me laugh, they were about as much use as a c.o.c.k flavoured lollypop!!!!!!
