Was happy to hear the lad is an Evertonian, played brilliantly yesterday.

Went out in town last night for my birthday, ended up seein him in heebie jeebies. Chattin to him for ages, quality guy. Said it was his dream come true playing at Goodison, and having the Gwladys Street applauding him before the second half.

Apparently people weren't happy that he didn't respond to the applause, told me he was just in amazement at being there, hope no one was givin him any stick.

Just thought I'd put it up on here, hope to meet the guy again some time soon.

Sunday being the biggest rumour mill day of the week from the papers and there is nothing really to report.

The news of the day is the home tie against Fulham in the FA cup, then the huge news of us apparently showing interest in Brighton defender Lewis Dunk (Big Dunk to his friends) http://www.bluekipper.com/players/something_fishy/3773-another_dunk_in_an_everton_shirt.html? apart from that, it looks like our 94p transfer budget isnt going to stretch very far, but, hope is on the horizon, tomorrow is a new week and hopefully we will have some positive news on the transfer front by the end of the week! But i cant promise it...................Next update Monday when we will be getting towards a third of the way through the window................

Quite pleased with the article on the website.

The article seems like moyes adressing the fans strategic complaints and point of view. Seems like he`s taking his saying "The peoples club" to a whole new level. Very encouraging. if liverpool find the culprits responsible for racially abusing the oldham player will they get a lifetime ban from anfield? can those same supporters use in there defence suarez being found guilty of same thing yet remains in there first team squad? makes for an interesting time for the rs , hypocrites may come up a few times, my bet is that they wont be able to find the people responsible and they wont want to as they are going to be put in a little moral predicament.

With the focus on the Fa cup tie against Non league giants Tamworth, there is very little to report in the transfer market today.

The sole news is David Moyes is having to rethink he transfer plans after injury to Phil Jagielka http://www.setanta.com/ie/Articles/2012/01/06/Moyes-to-rethink-transfer-plans/gnid-124916/?

Quite how you can rethink spending 74p is a bit confusing for anyone, but, the Goodison faithful have every belief that Moyes can work wonders with his meager budget, but only expect an influx of defensive minded players in before the end of Jan, if any at all......

With a quarter of the transfer window gone by the time sunday's rag's are in the shops tomorrow morning, there will no doubt be an influx of rumours for us all to get our heads stuck into come sunday morning....
