Everton may have seen their top-four challenge fall away but they've had a brilliant season in their final campaign under David Moyes. They've consistently performed at a good level, punching above their weight and I've been impressed with them this year. They've also finished above Liverpool, which is one of their aims every season! Moyes now moves on to a new challenge at Manchester United but he's left a really strong club behind for someone else to pick up and it will be interesting to see if they can maintain their level of performance next season.

.....our time to get the right man. This is whats been said so far, wise words ? or do we just not know who we want ? I think i'll be panicing a bit if this goes on for a couple of weeks like. In my mind we havent got long to hit the ground running and build on what Moyes has left, thats what has been said were trying to do. 2 months or so after announcing the Manager, he needs to get in; get out players, get to know the players he's keeping, get them to agree to his systems, allow the new players to settle in, get to know his coaching staff or worse still bring in his own, which means more getting used to's, agree to the pre season fitness system, matches in USA or SA or China or wherever it is, do we know yet ? Who we playing prior to first game ? Good luck new Manager, were all behind you. Am i panicing ? well not yet but i might be soon.

I'm off on holiday tomorrow.
