what is it with Man U?

watched Match Of Day yesterday having managed to avoid their score. two nil up to Villa and not a sniff of a chance for United in the highlights. something deep down tells me they will win. two scrappy finishes later and a stupid bit of a defending from a set piece and thats it. happened time and time again last few seasons. nothing special at the back or in midfield. useful up front. so many games won when not playing well usually indicates a team very solid at the back but dont even think thats true.
Just a thought but is there a chance teams get that same sinking feeling I got when they go ahead. So much talk in the media about their resilience and the inevitability of them doing this kind of thing. Bound to sink into the mind of some teams.

Tranmere game on itv4...guy blasted ball at keeper...he saves but ball loops up..for some reason the cameraman pans to the guy who took shot and misses the player following up and scoring..interesting thing was that the commentator followed the camera and didnt seem to realise himself...any chance they dont even go to the grounds now

I have seen this exact headline crop up all time. This one is in what I thought was a decent newspaper. at the moment along with miliions of other people I am worried about work, how it effects life at home, If I lose work what would happen. I wouldn't moan too much on a personal level because people are much worse off. I would never describe myself as going through agony. Yet these are the exact words I have read about footballers like Cole who are sitting around on money that will already mean they don't have to work ever again when they retire in their 30s. They are doing a job I would have sacriifced everything to do. Maybe it seems a petty point but probably sums up how spoilt and selfish the game is becoming at the very top level and if I was someone who was genuinely going through agony with fottball as one of the bright spots I think I would struggle to watch a game again,
Joe Cole's decision is whether to sit on one of the highest salaries in the country doing nothing or take a pay cut for a few years and do his job safe in the knowledge he will never have to worry about money in his life.

I may be putting some tips up every now and again for Australian horse racing. My brother's boss is over from Australia and he owns 50 horses, most of which, if not all, are race horses. So he's going to let me know when they run and hopefully give me some indication as to whether I should back them or not. So if you're interested, keep your eyes peeled. He had one running this morning which came second at 16/1, and that was a photo finish.
