got offered this as an upgrade cos me contract was ending along with an s4 I think so me big licks decides to go for the note well_fuck me I wish I'd went and checked how big the_fucker was before agreeing on the phone its_fucking massive boss phone_shits over me arl iphone 4s but I had it in me pocket and me kecks near fell down going the shop.

Made me chuckle...

I chose this camera for my wife as s surprise Christmas present. She was delighted to receive it on that day but was then bitterly disappointed as she could not try it out without a memory disk which was not supplied.
We just cannot understand why a disk was not supplied as it surely couldn't have been on the grounds of cost - we have since bought an 8 gb disk for about £4 from Amazon.
Without a disk and with no user manual other than a CD/DVD it was a very disappointing start to what I really did think would be a great and exciting Christmas gift.
Due to the extended Christmas period it took until yesterday, Saturday 5th January for a disk to reach us so my wife has not as yet had an opportunity to get to know the camera and all that it has to offer.

I am sure that the choice of camera will turn out to be a good one but I am equally sure that you will understand why I have marked its rating so very low, eleven days have gone by without being able to do anything with it..
I have likened the situation of no disk to buying a new car without wheels, or a child receiving a battery operated toy at Christmas with no batteries.
Perhaps Canon can be made aware of this major deficiency, and perhaps Amazon can make sale details clear that a memory disk must also be purchased.

Probably bore you to tears here, but this guy was born in Birkenhead and educated in Southport. He was responsible for the Law of Property Act 1925 which pretty much governs my working life.

Anyway, he was a drinker and carouser. A real character and Winston Churchill's best mate. When in Court he liked to play the divil. I think this exchange with a judge was pretty amusing:

Sarah Palin called for the invasion of the Czech Republic today in response to the recent terrorist attacks in Boston.

In an interview with Fox News, the former governor of Alaska said that although federal investigators have yet to complete their work, the time for action is now.

"We don't know everything about these suspects yet," Palin told Fox and Friends this morning, referring to Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who allegedly carried out the Boston Marathon attacks. "But we know they were Muslims from the Czech Republic.

"I betcha I speak for a lot of Americans when I say I want to go over there right now and start teaching those folks a lesson. And let's not stop at the Czech Republic, let's go after all Arab countries.

"The Arabians need to learn that they can't keep comin' over here and blowing stuff up. Let's set off a couple of nukes in Islamabad, burn down Prague, then bomb the heck out of Tehran. We need to show them that we mean business."

Can't See Russia...

Although hosts Steve Doocy and Gretchen Carlson applauded Palin's jingoism, they immediately attempted to rectify her multiple geographic errors.

"Well Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan, which isn't Arab," Carlson corrected, "and Tehran is the capital of Iran, which is predominantly Persian. But I do see your point."

"Also Czech Republic isn't really an Arab or even Muslim country, I don't think," Doocy added, "but otherwise what you're saying makes a lot of sense. I think most Americans wish Obama would step up and lead on this one."

Palin, however, didn't take kindly to being corrected and defended her analysis.

"Steve, that's probably one of the most ignorant things I've ever heard. How is Czech Republic not a Muslim country? You saw those brothers, they were Islamic and they were Chechen!"

"Yes there were Muslim and they were ethnic Chechens," Doocy started, "but they grew up mostly in Kyrgyzstan and the United States. And more importantly, Chechens don't come from the Czech Republic, they come from Chechnya, which is part of Russia. "

"What's the difference?" Palin responded. "Isn't Russia part of the Czech Republic?"

"No, the Czech Republic is a separate country. It's part of the European Union and a strong NATO ally," Doocy noted. "But heck, why not? Let's invade. What could go wrong?"

"Yeah and while we're at it," Carlson added, "let's call the Queen of England and see if the U.K. will join us."

In a statement released after the interview, Palin attacked Fox News and its "pro-Islamic" and "pro-geography" bias.

"This is just another case of the politically correct liberal media refusing to tell the truth about radical Islam," she said.

So you were in primary school in the early 50s... the youngest you could have been was say 4(?) in 1950 and the oldest 11 in 1950... that puts you now at aged 66-74... and you are in here at the first opportunity (australian hours) and the last opportunity (australian hours) most days when someone has replied to you... these hours being possible as australian daylight hours but also happening to coincide with british daylight hours (funny that)... apart from the night when there was boxing on (conceivable that someone in the uk might be awake - I was)...

just to throw something into the mix... nobody I know... or have known... in that age range...has the appetite/desire/inclination/want/need to act as you have...

So we accept that you are someone on the troll... lets face it.. nobody on here thinks you are genuinely a 66-74 year old who lives in australia who chooses to pick arguments with people in the uk via the internet... Where do you see this going?

Opening with a big announcement at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, the Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn has made a remarkable revelation - that they plan to release a new 'Star Wars' film every summer from 2015 onwards.

This means that from the release of 'Episode VII' we should expect a brand-new 'Star Wars' film every single year… but they won't all be sequels. It's currently planned that the sequel trilogy episodes (that's VII, VII and IX) will be released every two years - with a spin-off film released in the "off-years".
