I've loved DM, I've been frustrated by him and at times in frustration called him fit to burn in the Blue Room.

On reflection, the man has always oozed class and ensured that even if we couldn't financially be a Man Utd we could behave like them. He gave us all our pride back to be Evertonian's ...remember the peoples club!

I am really sad that he's going, not just because he worked miracles, but because he was one of us...a true blue.

He never, ever moaned about a lack of finance, but had all the independent pundits raving about us as a club.

Let's give the man we owe so much to a great send off on Sunday. He genuinely deserves his opportunity and we should be proud that the only club he left us for was one of if not the biggest club in world football.

Turned up in the post this morning... Turned to "Fifteen minutes with David Moyes"... the monthly interview of the manager... Final two paragraphs...

"Finally, it has become something of a tradition at this time of the year to acknowledge the achievements of Sir Alex Ferrguson. Once again, the Scot has led Manchester United to the Premier League title, and Moyes has every admiration for his fellow Glaswegian.

"You have to respect his record as a manager. You may not like him or his style, but you have to admire his record," he said. "He continually drives himself and his team to success. He is at a grand old age and is showing everybody how it is done. You keep going, keep working and keep trying to stay fit and healthy and he has been very good at it."

Kenwright when interviewed( after moyes had left kenwrights office) by sky rep says he doesnt know of any deal ,offer or approach from man u,then in his second breath says we had a nice chat and davy can please himself as hes out of contract in six weeks and hes done a fantastic job for EFC. For fck sake this isnt Dan Gosling.

Ok moyes wanted to go after fergie resigned but ffs was he that desperate to get away from EFC and us loyal supporters u know all us soft cnts payin his wages for the last 11 years,talk about showin some respect , i did not agree with some of his tactics and team selection but he kept us in top halve of league and we had some good days out at wembley ,but he would fall at the last fence ,and i dont agree with the ( He didnt have the resources) we were beaten by wigan ,leeds etc etc, no one was sayin that when we beat mancity ,man utd, so it doesnt stack up.
