remember man united struggling at southampton and ferguson blamed there kit. well right now i`m blaming the yellow around the ground. i say get rid of it for next season becuase it is obviously putting the players off, theres like more and more yellow every season. new team new look i think.

Already thinking About Next Transfer Window!

Yes I am already thinking about the next window (seeing as this season is still pretty much a write off as far as the league is concerned)

Looking at the squad; Distin's age, Neville's age, Drenthe not staying (I'd bet he won't), him, Straq and Pienaar having to be either replaced our purchased, lack of cover for Baines which is an ever ticking time-bomb, the still lack of creativity in the centre, Hennamann and/or Mucha leaving...all meaning we need to have a really busy transfer window again in the Summer....and we'll probably need to sell at least one (probably more) of Rodwell, Jags, Baines, Coleman, Heitinga or Fellaini to be able to get the above AND replace whoever we sell - even allowing for the fact that some will be loans!

Moyes probably won't do it all in one window - but yanno what - he should!

Starting Line up for the weekend

They all played well and we seem to have a formation that is now more balanced and able to get forward. Maybe through injuries but if you compare the line up against City earlier in the season we had more players who can pass a ball in the midfield as well as try to get up the park.

I would happy if we stuck to the same lineup with Duffy back at CB. I would consider dropping Cahill who was excellent but for this game would like to see more support for Denis. I think Drenthe behind Denis and Peanuts on the wing could be interesting. THen we would have pace and power. Also Drenthe would be receiving the ball further up the pitch and closer to goal.

But as said can't fault the team last night and hope we get to see a lot more of Denis (not only this season) as he showed he had everything and seems to be settling into the PL pace.

Hibbert and Heitinga were found with a whopping £30million each in their back pocket

Will be tempted to start with a 4 4 2? With Jelavic rearing to get make his premier league name and Straq being a true fighter I reckon Moyes will see the 2 to perfectly lead the line against Wigan who havn't had the best luck this season.

Could be a test run to how we could line up until the summer and a head of the chelsea game where Moyes will undoubtedly play a defensive side.

Would be interesting if he did decide to play it that way and we could possibly see a promising front line that between them have scored a lot of goals in their previous leagues

For me, Denis was man of the match. He was absolutely everywhere today; in defence, up front, helping the midfield out. He held the ball up well, was a nuisance to the Manchester City defence, he was a physical presence, he was great in the air, he had a never say die attitude. The only thing missing was a goal, not that he needed it. Denis tonight was practically the anti-Saha. Great stuff. I hope to see him start at Wigan on Saturday.

Got to say really chuffed with the moves Moyes has made in this transfer window.

I think Jelavic will work hard and get goals Pienaar will be a good assett if he gets back in the right frame of mind.

He got too big for his boots last time here and has been brought bang back to earth by Harry redknapp, he's got a lot to prove.

Gibson and Donovan could not have hoped for a better partership start than that goal last night.

where do i start.
2 new signings
1 from scotland so won't get too excited just yet.
2 we resign a player who couldn't play for us because his mnd wasn't right yet who was willing to be on spurs bench despite begging for a move.
3 where does Pienaars retutn leave Drenthe

but on a positive note Jelavic could be a bargain at 5.5 mill
Pienaar can hopefully get the baines partnership working again.
oh and we just beat Man City.
Straq did better than ok and King Jonny was AWESOME

I was on here a couple of weeks ago saying I was giving up my season ticket.

Now look at whats happened, we've won a few games, got rid of some dead wood and brought in some fresh faces, current players are starting to put in a shift, big Straq is working a double shift, Moysies started to stand tall and smile. If this carries on I can see me going soft and renewing my season ticket.

Who says supporters are a fickle bunch.
