Theo Walcott could return for the Blues when they travel to the London Stadium to take on West Ham United on Sunday.

The winger missed last week’s clash against Southampton with a calf injury but boss Sam Allardyce says he “has a chance” of being involved against the Hammers.

Wayne Rooney is out with a minor knee injury, while Gylfi Sigurdsson (knee), Eliaquim Mangala (knee) and James McCarthy (broken leg) remain sidelined. Mason Holgate is back in training after ankle surgery but may not be risked.

West Ham are waiting on the fitness of Javier Hernandez after the striker missed their 0-0 draw with Manchester United on Thursday with a knee injury.

Centre-back James Collins has returned to training, however, and could feature.

ONE TO WATCH: Marko Arnautovic
The mercurial Austrian signed for West Ham for a reported £20million last summer. After a mixed start to his Hammers career, the 29-year-old has flourished in recent months having been deployed as a centre-forward. He has been a key figure as the club have secured Premier League survival - hitting 10 goals and chipping in with five assists.
