There have been three penalties in FA Cup matches between the sides: Frank Lampard and Mikel Arteta both netted at Stamford Bridge in 2006 while Tony Cottee missed for Everton from the spot at the same venue in January 1992.
Shoot outs - Everton
Everton have had one penalty shoot-out in the FA Cup - the semi final win over Manchester United.
David Moyes' teams have been involved in the following shoot-outs, the first of which was watched by just 1,205 spectators at Hartlepool in January 1999:

Shoot outs - Chelsea
The Stamford Bridge side have lost their last five penalty shoot-outs: to Burnley (Carling Cup 2008/09), to Manchester United (European Cup final and Community Shield at Wembley in 2007/08), to Liverpool (European Cup 2006/07) and Charlton (Carling Cup 2005/06).
Chelsea's other penalty shoot-out at Wembley saw a defeat to Manchester United in the Community Shield in 1997/98.
In the FA Cup Chelsea have lost on penalties to Millwall (1994/95) and beaten Newcastle in the following season.
Guus Hiddink has had one penalty shoot-out previously in England, a 5-4 defeat for Holland at Anfield against France during Euro ‘96.
In addition the Chelsea coach was in charge of Australia in November 2005 when they defeated Uruguay on penalties 4-2 to reach the 2006 World Cup finals.
The Dutchman's one European Cup final win was also via a penalty shoot-out, when PSV Eindhoven defeated Benfica in 1988, later that year PSV lost the World Club Championship on penalties to Nacional.
Hiddink's Dutch side were also beaten by Brazil on penalties in the 1998 World Cup semi-final.

alan bucklewe had not won for 43 years but we beat fulham so we can beat chelsea ,that year we won the f a cup so we will win.
