v Swansea City

Tuesday 23 September K.O. 19:45

This option retains the Shield as the core shape for the Crest but presents it in a new, sleeker, more modern way.

The most iconic elements of the Club's rich heritage are featured, namely the Tower and Nil Satis Nisi Optimum.

The Tower design has been modernised in line with the strong feedback from the consultation, the Shield shape streamlined and the name Everton included in a strong font with an element of tradition.

The Latin motto, Nil Satis Nisi Optimum, is again brought within the Shield but this time running more prominently across the top. Like option two, this option contains all the key elements of the Crest within the Shield to allow neatness of presentation and support consistency of application across different media and when used by partners.

This design also provided the opportunity to retain both 1878 and the Wreaths, whilst remaining sleek and modern.

The overall effect is to create a modern, sports brand identity, whilst retaining what is different and special about the Club's unique heritage.
