v West Brom

Saturday 13 September K.O. 15:00

This option prioritises the prominence of the Club name, Everton.

The Tower design has been modernised in line with the strong feedback from the consultation, the Shield shape streamlined and the name Everton included in a strong font with an element of tradition.

The Latin motto, Nil Satis Nisi Optimum is brought within the Shield, which in this option contains all the key elements of the Crest to allow neatness of presentation and support consistency of application when the Crest is used across different media and when used by partners.

The inclusion of 1878 reinforces the Club's proud status as one of only 12 Founding Members of The Football League, demonstrates heritage and was chosen as the additional element on this design as it is slightly preferred to the Wreaths in the survey.

Rendered again in the much-preferred Royal Blue and White but with the addition of amber for the outline of the Shield, the overall effect is a simpler Club Crest that is modern and strong, whilst retaining key aspects of heritage.
