Dr Aboul Shaheir

Dr Shaheir was appointed as director of medical at USM Finch farm in October 2017.

He originally joined Everton in March 2015 as a club doctor. He started his career path after graduating from medical school as an orthopaedic surgeon for 13 years. 

Dr Shaheir then decided to change his career path to become an accredited GP with special interest in Musculoskeletal medicine. He then studied sport and exercise medicine at Bath University and obtained his Diploma qualification. He worked as a sport physician with the Crusaders Rugby league club for a year and was the club doctor of Wareham FC for 5 years before joining Everton.

Dr Shaheir's role is to lead, motivate and control the medical department across the first team and U23s.
