The Supporters’ Club Committee is one of the initiatives designed to help bring Supporters’ Clubs closer to the Club.
Secretaries will attend meetings to discuss a host of topics that are important to Supporters’ Clubs and their members. The meetings will take place on a monthly basis and the Committee will provide support with planning Supporters’ Club events including the Supporters’ Club awards and matchday activities. The Committee will also work with the Club to review the affiliation benefits on a seasonal basis. Here we meet the Supporters' Club Committee members...
Bob Roberts - Conwy County
The Club has been active for about 12 years, it started as a group of supporters organising a coach to attend games from the Conwy and Llandudno area, it was then decided to form a club and we then affiliated with Everton to provide tickets and transport to all the home games and some away games
We now have 40 Season Ticket Holders and a membership of 84 members who obtain tickets for those who do not have Season tickets. The bus goes to every home game, starting at Llandudno and pickups to St Asaph. We have committee of 6, and when we do any fund raising the money goes to local charities and to help local children’s football teams.
Hana Roks - Han's Tours
Originally 'Jethro's', started in 1976. A group of mates began travelling to away's together which was started by my dad. Became affiliated in 2009 and take coaches to all away's and have events and meet ups at home games. Great group of mates who mainly met on the coaches, a great mix of people young and old!
James Lyon - Rice Lane
Rice Lane Supporters' Club began in July 1995 with 24 friends, and has grown to over 1000 people. Members are now everywhere from Walton to Western Australia! Alongside annual meetings, we constantly communicate via text, email, Skype etc - with most additionally using social media. On Goodison matchdays, you'll find RLSC members in almost every pub on County Road/Walton Road, plus the FanZone and Everton Hub. The Chairman and Secretary are available in the Players' and Springfield pubs respectively before home games. We have a large, loyal away following, and regularly fundraise for specific causes nominated by our members.
Jayne Leonard - Croston Blues
Established in 2013 with 20 members, 45 now and growing! 22 of which are STH and 10 regularly travelling to away games, pre-season & Europe. We meet monthly in our home The Wheatsheaf, Town Road Croston, the first Monday of each month at 1930 for updates, discussions, quiz and food. We have members from surrounding areas of Mawdesley, Rufford, Bretherton & Preston and further afield. We also meet socially for AGM, Christmas Night out, Races or just a meet up in the pub and travel together home, away and in Europe.
Ken Sweeney - Everton Mid Cheshire
Everton Mid Cheshire founded in 1995 to helping bring Everton supporters together in Winsford, Middlewich, Northwich and the surrounding areas. We organise travel to all games, Home and Away, including all cup and European games, picking up on all junctions going south for away games in London and the South Coast.
With seeing each other every week we don't have regular meetings but organise a function just before Christmas to pay for the kids Blue Christmas Party and end of season function. The friendship and bond that has been created over the past 22 years has made us a very special Supporters' Club and most of all a Blue family.
Phil O'Rourke - Taxi Club Blues
Taxi Club Blues, based at Taxi Drivers Social Club on Cherry Lane/Walton Hall Avenue. Formed in 2007/8. Currently 300+ members, with 98% of them Season Ticket holders, and a fair few attending away games also. We have a wide age range within our membership from children to OAPs, a nice eclectic mix.
Stephen Henshall - South Manchester
The South Manchester branch was first set up in 2013 and accredited in season 2014-15. The main objective being to get fellow Evertonians living in and around Manchester to the home games, and where possible, away games. Membership has steadily increased and we now have 50+ members with most members living in or around Manchester and a few based on Merseyside.
Steven Thompson - Crewe & Nantwich
The Crewe and Nantwich Area Supporters' Club (ESCCNA) was started in May 2013 by Alan Thompson, a lifelong Evertonian. Alan sadly passed away in August 2013 but the Supporters' Club continues in his memory. Monthly meetings are held on Thursday evenings and all Evertonians are welcome.
ESCCNA have hosted a number of former player evenings with Joe Royle, John Bailey, the late Tony McNamara, Derek Temple along with ESCCNA Presidents Eamonn O'Keefe and John Sutherland having been in attendance. These evenings have enabled ESCCNA to raise money which has been donated to The Everton Former Players Foundation.
