Based in the North of England, Davanti Tyres was launched in 2015 to establish a new range of tyres, designed and engineered in Europe, to the global marketplace. All Davanti tyres are designed in the UK by experienced industry experts, manufactured in a state-of- the-art plant to exacting E-mark standards and tested at Europe’s toughest proving grounds, including Davanti’s new European Development Centre at Applus IDIADA in Spain.
Davanti has been Everton Football Club’s Official Global Tyre Partner since 2017, which has bolstered its global brand presence and helped form meaningful relationships within the local community.
Davanti and Everton Make it Happen in the Community
Through its Make It Happen campaign, Davanti supported the Club’s Everton in the Community programme in tackling a significant issue among disadvantaged families within the area - school uniform poverty. It was identified that a vast number of children were turning up to school without the correct uniform, or without a uniform at all.
Davanti donated £10,000 of funds to go towards the supply of full school uniforms to 480 children across Merseyside in a bid to tackle inequality in education and improve attendance levels, performance, self confidence, and attitudes towards learning.
Chris Saunders, Davanti Brand Manager, added: “Everton in the Community has highlighted a significant issue facing children and families in the most disadvantaged areas of Liverpool. As a manufacturer with firm roots in the city region, we want to do what we can to ensure that bright young pupils are not held back or subjected to any disadvantage simply because they do not have the correct school uniform.”
