Kicks is an initiative funded by the Premier League, Merseyside Council and Merseyside Police that works towards creating stronger, more respectful communities through a blend of activities to reduce anti-social behaviour within identified hotspot areas.

The award-winning Youth Engagement arm of Everton in the Community has been delivering Kicks in the local community for six years and uses sport and the arts to empower young people at risk of involvement in crime and anti-social behaviour towards more positive actions and encourages community cohesion.

Working in partnership with Liverpool Mutual Homes and Merseyside Police, Everton in the Community lead football sessions in areas which have high incidents of crime and anti-social behaviour to encourage children to develop their potential.

In figures provided by Merseyside Police, the Kicks programme has contributed to a 65% reduction in anti-social behaviour and a 79% reduction in crime in some of the most challenging communities across the region. In 2013 the project expanded from seven sessions to 24 sessions per week across Merseyside.

We have sessions across Merseyside throughout the week based around Football, Karate and Dance, as well as the EitC Youth Zone. You can view our timetable below.
