Everton in the Community’s Primary Skills programme is a unique initiative that allows children between the ages of 4 - 11 the opportunity for charity coaches to deliver a tailored range of sport provision to Key Stage 1/2 during term time and after school.
Funded Premier League Charitable Fund (PLCF), the programme is open to children of all abilities and currently has five primary schools paying for the provision.
The Government's investment in primary school physical education aims to make a difference to the long term health and wellbeing of children.
The Improvement of PE provisions in schools will develop skills and confidence which should increase sports participation and physical activity beyond school.
Schools are encouraged to look beyond the two years funding and put together a sustainable action plan.
