Everton in the Community is delighted to have been chosen by leading insurance broker Kingsbridge Insurance Brokers as its North West charity partner.

With offices in Tewkesbury, London and Liverpool, Kingsbridge is one of the UK’s leading insurance broking and risk management businesses.

Following on from a recent visit to The People’s Hub, selected Everton in the Community as an official charity partner after being blown away with its work and impact across the Merseyside community, specifically in the field of mental health.

A delegation of staff from Kingsbridge Insurance Brokers visited Liverpool 4 to find out more about the Club’s official charity and its wide-ranging work, as well as meet some participants who have benefitted from its programmes.

As a result, the firm has made a donation to Everton in the Community to further develop its mental health focused programmes.

Jeanette Salmon, Everton in the Community Director of Development, said: “As a charity we reached out to Kingsbridge two years ago in the hope of forging a mutually beneficial partnership and we are thrilled to see this come into fruition. We look forward to working with Kingsbridge over the coming months and hope this will be a long-term charity partnership.”

Danny Nield, Kingsbridge Divisional Director, added: “Sometimes you just know when a partnership will work; it is about shared values, common interests and the desire to make a difference.

"We at Kingsbridge have certainly achieved that with our friends at Everton in the Community through their amazing work in the local communities and we are excited to engage and assist on several initiatives, particularly supporting their focus on mental health.

“As part of Kingsbridge’s ongoing commitment to CSR, we undertook considerable research into local charities and Everton in the Community are our chosen charitable trust due to the dedication to their selected projects and easy engagement process. It promises to be a very exciting partnership that we can’t wait to get underway.”
