Everton in the Community has teamed up with nationwide car rental company Easirent to help keep the charity moving across sites on a day-to-day basis.
Established in 1999, the family-run company operates an impressive fleet of over 4300 vehicles in the UK and has kindly donated a Citroen Belingo to the Club’s official charity as they play their part in putting something back into the Merseyside community.
The vehicle will be used by Everton in the Community support staff to help transport equipment and resources across multiple delivery sites across the city.
Linda McMullen, Director of Finance, Resource and Operations for Everton in the Community, said: “We are extremely grateful to Easirent for their kind donation.
“It will greatly support our programmes and enable our delivery staff to move across sites and help maximise our impact.
“We look forward to working with Easirent and developing the partnership across the season.”
Dan Green, Brand Manager from Easirent, said: “As a business based in the heart of the city, we are thrilled to be able to help Everton in the Community by donating a vehicle to help keep the charity moving and put something back into the community in which we work.
“The charity has a huge impact across Merseyside and, as part of our ongoing CSR commitment, we are pleased to work with them.”
