The month of February sees Everton in the Community celebrate its 30th
birthday and over the course of the next four weeks, evertonfc.com
will be looking back to the early days of the Club’s official charity, key highlights and achievements over the past three decades, as well as seeing what the future holds for EitC.
This Saturday’s home game against Crystal Palace will be Everton in the Community’s designated birthday fixture and the charity is asking all Evertonians to come together to join in the anniversary celebrations. More details on the matchday activity and how you can get involved will be released in the coming days.
Throughout the month, lots of members of the Everton Family including the first-team squad, Under-23s, Everton Ladies and Club Ambassadors will be visiting Everton in the Community projects throughout Liverpool to meet participants who have benefitted from the charity’s award-winning programmes and see first-hand the difference that EitC is making across Merseyside.
And on Tuesday 13 February, the Everton Family will come together to celebrate all things EitC at a black-tie Gala Dinner at the prestigious St George’s Hall and look back fondly on the past 30 years and raise a glass to the next 30!
As the month of February draws to a close, we will hear from the charity’s Executive Chair, Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale MBE, about the bright future for Everton in the Community and what the proposed stadium move to Bramley-Moore Dock will mean for the Club’s charitable arm.
