Everton in the Community have named Alpha Business Products as their Official Print Partner.
Long-term supporter of the Club’s official charity, Alpha Business Products, leaders in managed print, photocopier sales, service and support have donated 17 multifunctional/printing devices to benefit Everton in the Community and Everton Free School during the 2017/18 season.
The charity’s relationship with Alpha Business Products has continued to develop over the last couple of years with the company also sponsoring the Annual Charity Golf Day, supporting the work of the Youth Zone, Imagine Your Goals mental health football team, Everton girls disability football team and donating gifts to a variety of festive appeals linked to the Club.
Alpha adopted Everton in the Community as their Charity of the Year for the season 2015/16, undertaking a number of fundraising and sponsorship opportunities to attract much-needed funds to help coordinate and develop the various programmes ran by the charity throughout the year.
In recognition of Alpha’s on-going commitment, the Blues’ official charity have formalised the relationship and named them as the ‘Official Print Partner’.
Liam Guinan, lifelong Evertonian and CEO of the Southport-based company, said: “As a local business we want to put something back into the community in which we serve and it’s great to support a local charity that cares about its people.
“By donating the office machines, it allows Everton in the Community to continue its great work and the money saved by the charity can then go directly to support the life-saving work.”
Phil Duffy, Executive Director of Everton in the Community, added: “The Everton in the Community property portfolio has grown as the charity develops and Alpha has generously provided us with top quality printers and photocopiers to allow the charity to function across our houses on Spellow Lane, in the new Community Hub and the Everton Free School.
“These gifts in kind have saved the charity considerable funds, which we can use to continue delivering our programmes across Merseyside. We are extremely grateful to Alpha for their support and to acknowledge this we are thrilled to name them as our Official Print Partner.”
