More than 80 loyal Everton in the Community volunteers came together at Goodison Park recently to celebrate 12 months of fantastic achievements alongside Club Ambassadors Graham Stuart and Ian Snodin while The Mac Brothers provided musical entertainment.
Hosted in the Alex Young Lounge by Darren Griffiths, the annual Volunteer Celebration event gives EitC the opportunity to bring many of its volunteers together in one place to express its thanks for all the tireless work they carry out for the charity all year round.
With a combined total in excess of 9,000 hours committed this year, our volunteer force embodies the principles and values of The People’s Club in supporting the most vulnerable sections of our community.
All those in attendance received a certificate recognising their dedication to Everton in the Community and volunteers who have donated more than 75 hours of service this year were presented with specially-commissioned volunteer pin badges presented by Snods and Diamond.
The evening highlighted the great regard that Everton Football Club and its official charity has for its volunteers and thanks them most sincerely for all the time they so willingly commit on a regular basis to support those less fortunate.
