Evertonian Laura Evison had a working day with a difference when newly-crowned WBC world cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew stopped by her workplace to hand deliver a competition prize.

Lifelong Blue Laura pre-ordered her pair of limited-edition Everton-branded earphones in aid of Everton in the Community online and was automatically entered into a daily draw to win a host of exclusive prizes including a canvas of Bellew in action.

And in an added bonus, the man himself personally delivered it to her desk at Haines Watts on Victoria Street on Thursday afternoon.

Following from his recent WBC title victory at Goodison Park, ‘The Bomber’ also brought along his belt for Laura and her colleagues to admire before personally signing the canvas for the lucky winner who confirmed the artwork will be taking pride of place on her living room wall.

Speaking after her lunchtime surprise, Laura said: “I’ve always supported Everton in the Community and have done some fundraising for them in the past. I also make and sell personalised bracelets and donate the proceeds to the charity. We’re all mad Evertonians, my son goes to Everton Free School and is well looked after. I ordered the headphones as I was looking ahead to Christmas and have ordered a few pairs.

“It was totally amazing having Tony surprise me at work; it’s just not what happens in your normal working day! Everyone will be so jealous, my son will be going mad!."

Diehard Evertonian Bellew added: “It’s great to be part of Everton in the Community and I’m always happy to do my part to promote it as much as I can because it’s always giving back to our local community. The earphones are really good and it’s been fantastic to come down here and surprise Laura and say a big thank you to her for pre-ordering her pair. I was humbled by the number of Evertonians that have got behind the campaign.

"Go out there and buy these earphones, they’re really great. I use mine when I’m out running and my kids all love them as well. The most important thing to me is that the money from the sale of these earphones is going back into the community – you’re getting something and you’re also putting back into helping people across Liverpool."

Evertonians have until 15 June to pre-order their earphones and the charity is running a daily prize draw which will see all those who have already pre-ordered in with a daily chance to get their hands on a host of exclusive prizes including a signed Ross Barkley boot and the opportunity to have a seat on the 2016/17 team photo.

Pre-order your limited edition earphones today to be in with a chance of claiming one of these fantastic prizes whilst also helping raise vital funds for Everton in the Community as all proceeds from the branded earphones go directly to the Club’s charitable arm.

Priced at £20, the money raised from the sale of the earphones will enable the pioneering sporting charity to continue their ground-breaking work across Merseyside. Everton in the Community’s award winning programmes focus on a range of social issues prevalent on our doorsteps including education, disability and equality, crime and those issues high on the health agenda, such as mental health, dementia, cancer awareness and obesity.

The innovative design of the high-quality noise cancelling earphones offer high output, full range sound, enhanced bass and pitch perfect highs. The snug-fit design blocks out external noise and the earphones also feature a convenient inline mic with a call/answer/end button.
