After six weeks of sharing stories from just a handful of the remarkable people that we have supported, we just wanted to say a big Blue THANK YOU for your continued support.
Everton Football Club and Everton in the Community have received thousands of positive messages from people all over the world who have been in touch to say how proud they are of the work that we are doing throughout Merseyside.
We hope that our six-week focus into Everton in the Community has helped to provide you with a further insight into the work of our official charity and the people we help.
Our final video hears from EitC CEO Denise Barrett-Baxendale, Roberto Martinez and first-team captain Phil Jagielka as they talk in detail about the charity and their feelings of pride associated with it.
Everton in the Community delivers 60 programmes across Merseyside which cover a range of social issues which exist on our doorsteps including health, employability, crime, education, poverty, youth engagement, dementia and disability.
EitC continues to grow from strength-to-strength and continues to be seen as a model of best practice for other sporting charities, not just across the UK but worldwide.
Our official charity is often regarded as the heartbeat of the Club and our local community; the life-changing opportunities it has been delivering throughout Merseyside since 1988 gives Evertonians another reason to feel ‘Proud to be Blue’.
On behalf of everyone at EitC, thank you for your kind words and thank you for being Proud to be Blue.
