Brian Scorgie
Season Ticket Holder (Gwladys Street)
I am 71 years old, retired, and married to Mary for 44 years and have two sons and a daughter. Sadly my eldest son became a fan of 'the other lot'.
I have been a Blue from birth and attended Everton matches since 1949. I started off in the 'Boys Pen' and was one of the first to have a season ticket there when they were introduced.
I sit in Gwladys Street with my son and two of my grandsons and we are all season ticket holders. Two of my other grandsons go to some matches with their father.
My youngest grandson, Adam Bond, will one day play for Everton and save the club millions. My favourite player is Dave Hickson, closely followed by Alex Young.
On the Forum I hope I have championed the cause of the younger supporters in particular as they are our future. We have to get them young and look after them. I applaud the club for what it is doing now with younger season tickets. We also need to look after all young people, who, in the current economic climate are either at school, students or on a low wage or out of work.
