2011 had it all. Ups and downs, highs and lows, arrivals and departures.

It was a 12 months which would emphasise the growing competitiveness of the Premier League - but also the serious potential within Everton's ranks.

The Toffees' finished the 2010/11 campaign in strong fashion, crowning an excellent second half of the campaign with a memorable win over Chelsea.

A summer tour of America built fitness and then there were ins and outs in August.

The 2011/12 season got underway and after a traditional slow start there were signs of revival in December.
