Ray Hall

Ray Hall - Academy Manager

Ray's primary role is to lead a team involved in all aspects of youth development from 7-19 years. In particular, the organisation of the department in terms of finance, facilities, staffing (full-time/part-time), policies, research and development, planning, care/welfare, education provision/ liaison with schools and establishing good lines of communication with all areas across the whole youth development structure.

Neil Dewsnip

Neil Dewsnip - Technical Manager 9-19 years

Neil is charged with the responsibility to develop technically excellent players to full-time Academy standard. He is responsible for all technical and tactical development of 9-16 year olds, monitoring of all technical staff, performance and results, directing games programme for the 9-16 year olds and directing the work of assistants. He also takes charge of the Academy Under-18 side.

Kevin Sheedy

Kevin Sheedy - Academy Coach 17-19 years

Everton legend Kevin assists in the development of technically excellent players for the full-time Academy player programme. He is involved in all technical work, the monitoring of youth players' performance and organising and implementing one youth team, including preparation, matchplay and recording.

Kevin O'Brien

Kevin O'Brien - Academy Director of Goalkeeping

Kevin is tasked with developing technically excellent goalkeepers for the Academy Programme. He is responsible for all technical and tactical development for Academy goalkeepers from nine-years-old to the senior side. He is also involved in establishing and implementing a goalkeeper syllabus for all Academy goalkeepers; monitoring and assessing performance of all goalkeeping staff; directing all assistants work and overseeing all recruitment of Academy goalkeepers.

Steve Hardwick

Steve Hardwick - Academy Physiotherapist

Head physio Steve is employed by the Academy to develop, organise, co-ordinate and implement the treatment and rehabilitation of all Academy players. This includes direct medical screening and health/medical education programmes for all Academy players along with the assessment and treatment of the 8-21 years of age Academy players. This would include the development, organisation and implementation of the treatment and rehabilitation programmes and working practically with the senior Academy team (Under 18s).

Richie Porter

Richie Porter - Assistant Physiotherapist

Richie is responsible for all matters deemed relevant by the Head of Academy Physiotherapy. He has specific responsibility for age groups 9-16 years and is involved in organising and implementing player profiles and the management of injury documentation.

Mike Dickinson

Mike Dickinson - Head of Education and Welfare

Mike's duties include establishing and maintaining existing education and welfare arrangements for all Academy players. He liaises with schools, colleges and universities in matters concerning players' education and welfare along with forming links with Education establishments in order to negotiate access to players where necessary. Mike is also responsible for developing assessments and reporting procedures to monitor progress and performance of players. Another aspect to the role is overseeing all Child Protection issues affecting the Academy.

Martin Waldron

Martin Waldron - Head of Local Schoolboy Recruitment

Martin looks after the recruitment and identification of young players aged 5-16 years. His role is to identify high potential players through friendly Leagues, Junior Clubs, Soccer camps, schools, festivals etc. He is also tasked with the job of recruiting high potential players.

Tony Farrell

Tony Farrell - Academy Coach 6-12 years

Tony Farrell Academy Coach 6-12 years
Tony directs and manages the Academy's technical programme 6-11 years. He is also responsible for coaching the Under Nine Academy Team and preparing groups aged 6-9 years. 'Tosh' is also the driving force behind the Everton Way online coaching tool.

Joan Farrelly

Joan Farrelly - Academy Office Manager

Joan's duties include the administration and organisation of all office practice within the Academy.
