Academy Update - April 2010

Everton's youngsters have been narrowly pipped in the race for the league title.

The young Blues lost out to title rivals Manchester United this week, ending their title dreams.

But nevertheless, there have been plenty of postives to reflect on. As well as the league near miss, this season has seen the Toffees reach the quarter finals of the Youth Cup.

There are no shortage of contenders for the Academy's end of season awards, which take place on 6 May.

The players will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Adam Davies, the goalkeeper who claimed the Academy Player of the Season prize at the Club's main end of season awards.
