Tim Howard and Steven Pienaar make their first appearances of the summer as Everton face Norwich.
All the World Cup players except finalist John Heitinga have returned to Finch Farm after an extended break and the aforementioned pair are handed a quick taste of match action.
They are joined by Joseph Yobo who is on the bench, but Yakubu and Jan Mucha aren't involved.
Tim Cahill gets a first runout on English soil after featuring in two games Down Under.
Phil Jagielka, Leon Osman and Victor Anichebe are all injured so Tony Hibbert slots into central defence alongside Sylvain Distin.
Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman are the full-backs, with Cahill and Pienaar joined in a five man midfield by Mikel Arteta, Phil Neville and Magaye Gueye.
Jermaine Beckford is handed a start after his two-goal substitute appearance at Preston last weekend.
