FELLI'S TOP FORM PLEDGE

Felli's Top Form Pledge

Marouane Fellaini is focused on returning to the form he displayed before his injury last season.

The Belgian resumed full training this week after recovering from an ankle ligament injury which had seen him sidelined since February.

Prior to that he had been sparkling form, revelling in a deeper midfield role and causing David Moyes to describe him as the best midfielder in the Premier League at that time.

Now he has pledged to do all he can to rediscover that form.

Fellaini, who was speaking to evertonTV as the Club announced its new partnership with 188BET, said: "I was in good form, but injuries are part of football. It was difficult because it was my first injury but I have learned from the experience.

"I was in good form and now I am working hard to get to the same level. I know it is difficult but that is what I am working for."

Having joined in full training alongside the rest of the squad earlier this week, Fellaini's next target is a return to match action.

"At the moment I feel good, my ankle has no pain and I have trained fully with the team," he continued.

"I have started full training and I hope in maybe two weeks I can start playing games, I have worked hard with the physios to get fitter.

"Two weeks, three weeks, I don't know. I haven't played for five months so it is difficult. Wolves? I hope so!"

Felli has the opportunity to be an absolute Everton legend. I think you could see his ability from the outset, his touch and technique for a big man is ridiculous! Yes it took him time to adjust to the prem, but before he was injured against the poorer half of merseyside last season, he was on top class form. Like he'd been in the prem for years! Hope he refinds that form as fast as Arteta did at the end of last season. Hoping to see him make an absolute fool of players like he did with Bellamy last season!

Even with the world cup this feels like the longest out-of-season EVER! Such a great squad. Just want to get going. Feels like a year since our last game!

Felli you are core to EFC success. You are a wonderful talent and you will undoubtedly pick up where you left off last season before your unfortunate injury due to a careless and violent tackle from an unkempt, unschooled and untalented LFC player. Please do me a favor and when you play LFC this year be who you are -- a class act -- and score a goal for me. I know you can, I know you will. You ROCK.

Nice one big man just get your fitness level up’ as when you first came on the seen you picked up too many silly booking’ as you weren’t up to the pace of the English game so please don’t rush back’ lets get your fitness right first time and then its away with the mixer. Remember the other team members are maybe 4-5 weeks a head of you in training so nice and easy does it every time
