The are some exciting Everton Collection events coming up!

You can bring your favourite piece of Everton memorabilia to The Everton Collection Roadshow this August. At the Roadshow we will record you talking about your favourite item and put this and a photograph of you on our website.

This is a truly unique opportunity as your photograph and recording become a permanent part of The Everton Collection, preserved for future generations.

The Everton Collection Roadshow will be at the following Liverpool venues in August:

Monday 2 August (11am-4pm) - Wavertree Library
Tuesday 3 August (11am-4pm) - Walton Library
Wednesday 4 August (11am-4pm) - Parklands Library, Speke
Thursday 5 August (11am-4pm) - Sefton Park Library
Friday 6 August (11am-4pm) - World Museum
Saturday 7 August (11am-4pm) - Spellow Library

Visitors to the Roadshow will also see information panels about the Collection and replica objects from football's past, including old photographs, rattles and kits. Members of the team will also be on hand to answer your queries about The Everton Collection.

The Everton Collection Roadshow and interview recordings are all FREE.

Please note we are unable to give valuations for items of memorabilia and original Everton Collection items will not be displayed.

Soon after the roadshow comes to an end, another event will take place at an iconic city centre location.

Between Monday 16th and Thursday 26th August, Everton Collection stands will be on show at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral.

Find out how a football team from St Domingos Methodist Church became one of the most successful clubs in British football history. The stands also provide detailed information about some of the oldest and most unique items of memorabilia in the Collection, including minute books (1887-1964), match programmes (1886-present day) and the oldest known team photograph from 1881! Please note original items will not be displayed.

To launch the exhibition, acclaimed football author Peter Lupson will be giving a free talk, 'Thank God for Football', on Monday 16th August at 6pm in the Cathedral.

It's a little known fact that nearly a third of the clubs to have played in the Premiership, including Everton and Liverpool, can trace their origins to a church. Surprisingly, very little is known about the church roots of famous football clubs. In some cases even the names of their founders are wrong!

Drawing on original materials from a variety of sources, Peter Lupson has written two books which set the record straight - the bestseller, 'Thank God for Football!' and the acclaimed 'Across the Park', which focuses on Everton and Liverpool. In these books Peter has been able to bring the early pioneers to life and to transport us back to the time in which they lived.

He will share his exciting discoveries in a free talk at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral on Monday 16th August at 6pm.
