Seamus Coleman
Everton defender Seamus Coleman has joined Championship side Blackpool on loan, intially on a one-month deal.
The 21-year-old full-back - who made his debut in the Europa League group game at Benfica in October - goes straight into Tangerines manager Ian Holloway's squad for tomorrow's game against Crystal Palace.
He has made seven appearances for the Blues this season and particularly impressed as a substitute against Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park in December, which was his home bow.
Coleman's chances have been restricted recently with Club captain Phil Neville returning to full fitness, but the young Irishman - who has international honours at U21 and U23 level - is very much one for the future.

Coleman played for Blackpool yesterday, could we get some update on how he is doing at each of the game he played for Blackpool, I did love to know if things are working out for him and also if his performance wise are good or not!

This lad should be playing here, would hate for him to become another one we let slip. This boy has a big future and he can rip teams apart at will. I trust the gaffers judgement but think his performances warranted more playing time here. In moyes we trust

Blackpool is my second team and has been all my life, i just hope this loan is to toughen Coleman up and not to showcase him to the promotion pushing championship sides. he has shown lots of promise and maturity when he has played for the blues, lets hope when we get him back he pushes for a 1st team place, we all want to see him down the right in a royal blue shirt on a more regular basis. good luck Seamus, Holloway will look after you, and hopefully send you back fitter, more competitive and thirsty for premiership football! Very poor decision. Coleman should be given a run in the Everton first team not go on loan to a club that can offer him inferior quality football. We need to use this time we have to blood players. We know what Neville and Hibbert can and cant do.
