Everton Football Club hosted anti-racism workshops and guest speakers on Wednesday.
Blues legend Graeme Sharp and former West Ham United and Fulham striker Leroy Rosenior were on a panel answering questions in Goodison Park's Alex Young Suite on Wednesday.
It was part of leading anti-racist educational charity's 'Show Racism The Red Card' conference to tackle racism and promote race equality.
The free conference ran for the whole day, as the different workshops demonstrated the ways of preventing and acting against racism.
Rosenior is one of the few black football managers, having been in charge at league clubs Brentford and Torquay United after a 12-year professional playing career.
Fans Liaison, Sharp said: "Footballers are looked to as role models by the fans and especially younger supporters. So it is a good tool to get the message across by using professional athletes."
