Everton’s Under-15s have recorded an impressive win in Qatar!
The young Blues beat the Aspire team – the name given to Qatar’s national football academy - 3-2 at the Khalifa International Stadium - scene of England's recent friendly against Brazil and also the venue for this year's World Indoor Athletics Championships.
The Blues’ goals came from Ryan Meadows, Chris Long and Joe Johnson.
This is the fourth time an Academy side has visited the National Sporting Academy of Qatar, which is has a reputation as a world-class institution for educational sport.
The Everton side are due to play against the same opposition on Thursday.
